Week three was just so Beautiful of just seen everyone giving what they had.  That just touched my heart.  I had never experienced something like that of seen everyone giving.  Something that I would never forget, I always been a giving person even if it’s the last thing I have but if there was any gritty in me left, I can say that is all gone.

I think that having to extend the orientation for more than one week was Gods plans, I know he had to do what he had to do in my life and in the other students, there is a lot more to tell but I know I had passed more than three hundred word, I can say that I am not the same person from three weeks before, I also believe there is more to come, I fully depend on God for everything in my life and I am just so exited to see what is next  for me so I can help other.  RBI has been such a blessing to me in just three weeks, I pray to God so that he continues to blessing to all of you….Luz M.

The River International Church has been a blessing to me.  I have been longing for a  church,  a place where people truly care for one another. The River church is a place that I can truly see that  the people love the way Jesus loves.  The staff is Outstanding, Giving ,Truly blessed and Anointed .

I came here with a big wall around myself not wanting to get hurt like in the past.  It has been three weeks since coming here from Mobile, AL and I know the wall has been lowered more than halfway but I know without a doubt it will be totally gone.

I was told through a word of prophecy to pack my belongings, I will be moving, at that time I new nothing about The River International Church or  about The Great Awakening.  This occurred in March 2011 and I had just moved from Texas in January to Mobile, AL to attend college at the University of Mobile. While in Mobile I attended the Bay of the Holy Spirit Revival where Evangelist Nathan Morris was ministering (FIRE).  I had no idea that I would find myself here in Tampa, FL until I watched and observed The Great Awakening on CTN and in my heart I knew this was the place I will be moving to.  When I saw Pastor Browne on TV the older videos, I remembered watching TV with my mom and seeing Pastor Browne on TBN  and I said to myself “ I wish I could go to his church”  and at this time  he was I believe just visiting from Africa or he had just moved to the U.S.A.       AMAZING!!!

It is a miracle that i am here today at the Bible school, three months ago I was in Huntsville, Alabama. With God Grace I am here today. Since I got here my life has been radically changed. It is one this to read about believing God to provide for my life and it is another thing to have to live it. Three weeks ago I had to quit my job which provided security for me and my children and come to Bible school. I almost did not come because I was too worried about my kids and I though it was impossible for me to do it, But I can truly say it today with God nothing is impossible. I obey my God and let go of my Job and I surrender my life and my children to God completely. The day I joined the school some people thought I have lost my mind but I did not care much what they think, I care what Lord my God think of me. One week after the Bible school started the Lord gave me a Job which was perfect for the school schedule and more than that He gave me a Job that is

Five dollars more than what i was getting paid an hour in my former Job. I am telling you I said five dollar more an hour Halelujah, Glory to God. I know now without a doubt the my God is my provider and He is always on time. One more thing I was very afraid to pray for people but now not only I cannot wait to see God move, everyone i have prayed within call center and Soul winning time for healing, they received instant healing. It gets better i work at night when I am at work I speak in Tongues all night and I as the Lord be real to me and I believe He is  real person of Jesus, He will feel me with His heavy presence my whole body receive shocks and i will feel Him holding my Hand like a Father leading a Child, I am having a blessing with the Lord in my whole life i knew the God of the Bible but now i know the one who comes to me all the time even during classes. God you are Good my Lord, you are too Good to me, Thank you for RBI and thank you for Pastor Rodney and the whole Church Lord…..Devotha M.

How blessed am I!! Extremely, not because of money, or things, but because I have the greatest opportunity to be part of a ministry that only focuses on eternal things. Pastor Rodney lets the Holy Spirit have complete control of the service. And when you let that happen, He can move in people’s hearts as He needs. I am so greatly thankful for a man of God that is obedient to do what God has called him to do.

When we let go, the Holy Spirit can move freely in our lives, and in turn we affect those around us. The Holy Spirit is there to help and comfort us, but He is more there for those around us. I have changed so much by letting the Holy Spirit have control of my life and heart. This ministry gets out of the way and lets the Holy Spirit have His way. I would have never done have half the things I have done, without the Holy Spirit, and the wonderful pastoral staff of RMI. They have poured out all that they have in them into me and others.

They have poured into us so that we can go and pour out to others. As I have sat under this ministry, my heart has gone from just loving the Lord to doing what the Lord has called every believer to do. Go out and tell others about Jesus! And it has radically changed how I look at people. My vision has gone just doing my thing to doing all that the Lord has for me. I can honestly say that I never had an eternal vision until coming to The River. -Teresa T

Today, I went to class at RBI.  The first class of the day brought up two bibles school students. They began to share how God had invaded A Bible study the night before- healings, salvations and deliverances and the awing presence of God touched and changed lives.  No more 20 minutes later I found myself in blubbering mess on the floor.  God has begun to make me hungry for Him again.  It’s time now to step out into God’s plan in faith and not allow offense or anything else in our heart. 

I was in the store yesterday and approached a man on the way out to ask He knew that God loved him. He said that he had heard that before but wasn’t sure if he was going to heaven.   After I had prayed with him to accept Christ into his heart, I went to drive home.   I thank God I am chosen to witness the greatest miracle on earth of one passing from death to life; however I knew there was something more.  I almost felt like something was missing- the heart of God.  The power of the love of God to save, to heal, to deliver and to set free is to be active everyday.

I had become slack and wasn’t soul winning with a passion.  After today I make a choice to stir up the gift that is me – don’t let the devil get a word in edgewise about your purpose or future because God’s purpose and plan is already mapped out for you- yield to the power of God and stay in His presence.  –Ruth N.

What a week this has been ! It seems that The Great Awakening is spreading out across all over the world and the Holy Spirit is touching and changing more and more people. Last week I was ministering on the phones answering incoming calls and praying for people’s needs. That was awesome! It may sound little controversial thou it’s truth that you may know some things but until you experience them you really didn’t know what it’s all about and how does it feels. That’s how it was to me when I prayed for people over the phones. Every time as soon as I started to do that , anointing came over me in so tangible way as if I could grab it by my hands, sometimes it seemed like an air all around has got thick !I have experienced it before , but didn’t even think that it can come upon me while on the phone.

But the best part is that not only I got under the anointing – people on the other side of the line often told that they feel unusual warmth, peace, and other ways described the presence of God. And the coolest thing is that since I prayed for about a dozen persons I got it many times or to be more exact literally spent several hours in it. While I was busy ministering to others God got busy ministering to me !!! I really got built up and refreshed. Highly recommend try it out to anyone, it’s definitely blessing not a job.-Dzintars

When thinking or talking about these meetings that are taking place live on C.T.N every night, only one word comes to mind “revival”. AMEN! I’ve been to every meeting besides one. I’ve worked security every night; even know I have been serving every night I have still been hit with the power. Guess you can say I was drinking on the job, which is some of the times I get hit with the power the most. This past week the Holy Ghost has been working on me. It is not always easy hearing some of the things the Holy Ghost speaks to you to change or to do. If could tell people one thing about these meetings. It would probably have to be that they should get in as many of these meetings as possibly.

Last night which was 01-06-2011 I was on the wall, which would have been the floor if the wall was not there. I was laughing because, I full of joy. If you have never had the joy, you really need to get down to the river church in Tampa, FL. There is really no real way I can explain the way you feel when you receive joy, it is just wow. When you receive the joy, all your worries leave. You may be saying how does it work, well it is GOD doing a work. If you have a question about any of it, come to one of the meetings for your self. You will see that this is real. AMEN!-Matthew B.

“This is the Lord’s doing and it’s marvelous in our eyes,” declares Psalm 118:23. I am excited and honored to be at the River Church at a time such as this! Pastor Rodney Howard-Browne’s ministry has been such a blessing not just here in Tampa, Florida but around the world. Over four hundred calls come in every night for healings, miracles, and breakthroughs.  After going to the first meeting of this revival, I knew that great things were going to take place in people’s lives. I had an opportunity to take part in the phone ministry on Tuesday night and what a blessing that was! There were calls from California, Minnesota, Ohio, and all over the United States. Every time I put my phone down, another call was coming in. There were no time for breaks; people needed prayer and we were there to bring the fire to them. One lady prayed to receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tongues and received it immediately! God gives you the desire of your heart. I remember praying to the Lord that I wanted to be used by Him and this is surely been an answer to my prayers. He is using the fire that we get from the Great Awakening revival meetings to be poured out to others, whether on the phone or on the streets. We can’t be selfish and hold this power that is imparted to us for ourselves. There is purpose for the power. The callers desire to be filled with the Holy Ghost, delivered, and healed and I am a vessel that God can continuously use. -Shani G.

Children are a blessing from God. Many people treat them as if they are anything but a blessing. They will be more of a blessing if you apply God’s Word in the way you raise them. Stand on God’s Word for your family. Believe His promises.

For He has strengthened the bars of your gates; he has blessed your children within you.  Psalms 147:13 NKJ

Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb is a reward. 4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth. 5 Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; they shall not be ashamed, but shall speak with their enemies in the gate.  Psalms 127:3-5 NKJ

A wise child is an incredible blessing, but a foolish child will bring years of pain and grief. Foolish, undisciplined children disrespect their parents. Your children will give you the respect due you as a parent if you discipline, correct, teach and train them as the Word of God instructs. Protect your children and be careful over their friends and whom they associate with.

Take responsibility for the raising of your own children. You shape their future! Eli got in trouble with God because he allowed his sons to do whatever they wanted to do. Undisciplined, untrained children lose out on their inheritance —spiritual and material.

Train up a child in the way he should go [and in keeping with his individual gift or bent], and when he is old he will not depart from it.   Proverbs 22:6 AMP

A servant who acts wisely will rule over a son who acts shamefully, and will share in the inheritance among brothers.  Proverbs 17:2 NAS

Don’t be shocked when your kid does dumb stuff. They are kids! You will need patience and you will need to be consistent in your discipline and training ­—not just for a day —for at least 18 years!

Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline will drive it far from him.  Proverbs 22:15 AMP

The rod and reproof give wisdom, but a child left undisciplined brings his mother to shame.  Proverbs 29:15 AMP

A child is accountable for his/her attitude and behavior just the same as an adult. “He’s just a kid” is a cop out. Kids are responsible for themselves and should be held accountable.

Even a child is known by his deeds, whether what he does is pure and right. Proverbs 20:11 NKJ

Your leadership style in the home relates directly to your leadership style in other areas. You can act like you have it all together out there, but back home your kids know the real story! Your first responsibility is your own family. You cannot abdicate your familial responsibilities and then expect God to use you in the church. If you want a leadership role in the church you must be a leader in your home. Show some character and integrity in your home and you will be fit to minister to the Body of Christ!

He must rule his own household well, keeping his children under control, with true dignity, commanding their respect in every way and keeping them respectful. 5 For if a man does not know how to rule his own household, how is he to take care of the church of God?  1 Timothy 3:4-5 AMP

Let deacons be the husbands of but one wife, and let them manage [their] children and their own households well.  1 Timothy 3:12 AMP

[These elders should be] men who are of unquestionable integrity and are irreproachable, the husband of [but] one wife, whose children are [well trained and are] believers, not open to the accusation of being loose in morals and conduct or unruly and disorderly.  Titus 1:6 AMP (…wild and disobedient NIV)
